2023 IEEE International Symposium on Power Line Communications and its Applications (ISPLC)

The 2023 IEEE International Symposium on Power Line Communications and its Applications (ISPLC) will be the 26th symposium dedicated to scientific and technical advances in the field of communications over power lines. The event is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc).

Taking place at Manchester Metropolitan University from 21st to 23rd March 2023, the Symposium will attract scientists from all over the world to discuss the latest developments in the field. One of the main features of ISPLC is strong industry participation; it brings together researchers, practitioners and users of power line communications technology. The conference will further include a series of keynote and experts’ panel talks, as well as an industry centred on power line communications for smart-grids.

Bamidele is a Fellow of IET, Senior member of IEEE, a Fellow of Higher Education Academy and a Chartered Engineer. He is Panel Member of the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Peer Review College, and an EU Expert Reviewer/ rapporteur. His research is in embedding sensing, communication, control, and data analytic technologies in critical infrastructure such as energy systems, transport and buildings. He publishes widely in the research areas of Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, smart grids, peer to peer energy trading and sharing, Electric Vehicles, power line communications, wireless communication and indoor solutions for energy and occupancy management.
