Victoria Warehouse is a completely unique, entirely innovative event space in Manchester. The iconic venue offers clients a blank canvas for production and delivery of large scale events to a wide range of sectors from corporate meetings and exhibitions to music and sporting events.

Growing spaces and an expanding team.

Victoria Warehouse is continually evolving and the business is constantly striving to move forward; developing the brand, renovating the space and widening the team, all in order to reach the goal of becoming one of the UK’s most popular unique venue spaces.

With the entrance now revitalised, plans are confirmed to transform the hotel space and create up to 400 bedrooms within the existing warehouse unit. The owner of the Warehouse, David Cohen, is always looking for new ways to evolve the site whilst still maintaining the building’s industrial and truly Mancunian character.

With the development of the space, along with expanding the services of the venue, the growing business is therefore hiring. Newest recruit to start is Marketing and PR Manager, Beccy Gibson. Beccy has come over from the restaurant trade, previously responsible for proactively driving communications in order to maximise the revenue of the sites across the UK. With experience working across operations and marketing within the hospitality industry, she sets sights on driving the venue and its concept into a wider market.

“I plan on implementing strategies at VW with the aim to increase event enquiries, encourage engagement and develop brand awareness to raise the profile of the truly amazing and unique venue space. The scope for activity and events held here is huge so I am very excited to come on-board and develop a plan on how best to tell our story”.

Events in March

This past month the venue has worked with the usual diverse client range, hosting conferences, meetings and more. Highlighted events over at The Cotton Sheds saw a "Matthew Clark Ltd" trade show with a turnout of around 1,000 visitors and "Salon Services’ Live" which saw 1,100 into the venue, causing plenty of hype with an appearance of celebrity Hair dresser Guy Tang.

Over in The Bays they’ve catered for slightly smaller scale events with clients such as Plusnet, Department for International Trade, NUCO Travel and Pfleiderer. A long with all this, there has also been some high action Coronation Street filming.

"Everyone at Victoria Warehouse were more than helpful and a pleasure to work alongside! I would definitely recommend for future events!” - Jenny Woodworth, Pfleiderer.

The venue’s mission is to be the UK’s most creatively ambitious event space yet. As a creative canvas of unlimited potential, Victoria Warehouse live by the motto …

“We Are What You Make Us"
