The hotel is sleek and luxurious, from the stylish reception desk to the sun terrace overlooking the Irwell (the longest sun terrace in Manchester). There’s a focus on art in this hotel named after one of the city’s most famous artists, LS Lowry. 

With a selection of 6 different room categories making up the total inventory of 165 rooms, and with the largest entry level rooms in the city, you are bound to find the perfect fit for you.  With all rooms offering floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in wardrobes and huge King beds and not forgetting the shower or baths stocked with Elemis toiletries and fluffy robes.  The Deluxe, Superior and Executive King rooms have all undergone a full refurbishment as recent as August 2021 with the Suites being completed in December of 2019. 

Food and Drink

The River Restaurant and The Lowry Lounge and Bar are on the first floor of the hotel with a terrace that overlooks the city of Manchester on the same floor. The bar menu contains informal classics for food and a sophisticated menu for the perfect evening drink.  In the restaurant, the á la carte menu is specially created to ensure an exquisite dining experience whilst not being pretentious and welcomes all.  For breakfast there is a great selection for the continental options, a hot buffet and food made to order.
