Manchester is an ambitious city and a city of firsts, from splitting the atom and building the first programmable computer to introducing the first professional football league. Once an industrial powerhouse, it has transformed into the vibrant and exciting conurbation it is today.
We are committed to making the city increasingly accessible, and creating welcoming, enjoyable experiences for everyone. We want your delegates to easily find businesses, experiences and travel options that meet their access needs so they can plan their trip with confidence and fully engage in everything your conference or event has to offer.

AccessAble Detailed Access Guides
Greater Manchester has teamed up with AccessAble to bring all visitor economy businesses with a detailed access guide into one place. These can be viewed on the AccessAble Manchester microsite. Delegates can also tailor their search to specific experiences and business types such as hotels, restaurants, theatres, attractions and more to make the most of their time in the destination.
Transport Information
Greater Manchester can be easily accessed by public transport routes including regional and national train services. Whilst here, Greater Manchester has the Bee Network public transport system, easily recognisable by the yellow transport infrastructure and the symbol of the worker bee, offering integrated ticketing and a contactless tap-and-go payment option.

Toilets
Manchester City Council provides a list of public toilets in Manchester city centre and Changing Places toilets. You can search the Changing Places website for registered facilities across Greater Manchester.
