The University of Manchester’s inspirational surroundings provide a range of contemporary and historic venues within Manchester city centre.

Many of the facilities, available year round, include  Manchester Meeting Place and the Barnes Wallis building, for 6 to 200 delegates, the Core Technology Facility, a contemporary meeting venue for up to 140 and the majestic Whitworth Hall or Manchester Museum offering stunning backdrops for dinners.During vacations, they offer large scale venues suitable for conferences up to 1000 delegates.

All venues feature free Wi-Fi and state of the art audio-visual equipment. The Conferences and Venues team pride themselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and service and work closely with their inhouse catering, audio-visual and IT teams, to ensure the successful delivery of any event as sustainably as possible.

Their venues are COVID secure, they have the Visit Britain “We’re Good to Go” accreditation and have also put together a “You’re in Safe Hands” document to outline their commitment to following cleaning, health & safety and socially distanced protocols so that event organisers can be reassured of hosting their event in a safe location.
