Business and leisure guests have now been enjoying the Hilton Garden Inn at Emirates Old Trafford for six months.

The four-star hotel, which famously celebrated its opening at the home of Lancashire Cricket Club last September with outdoor beds, helps to serve the growing numbers of business and leisure visitors in Manchester.

In the first four weeks of business, the team had accelerated sales and revenues to the level that would have been expected for the third and fourth months of trading.

By the end of November, the four-star hotel had taken over 10,500 room bookings and welcomed even more customers – including some internationally famous faces, such as leading politicians and sports personalities.

So far in 2018, Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford has achieved all of its room targets for ‘quarter one’ by 2nd March. The team, which now boasts over 50 members of staff, has already laundered 154,637 sheets, pulled 18,500 pints of beer and served up more than 1,600 of its delicious signature Mobley Burgers.

So, what makes the hotel such a success?

Bedrooms

The accommodation perfectly complements the impressive conference, event and hospitality facilities already on-site, offering 150-bedrooms, 85 of which are pitch-facing, and there are 80 with balconies, boasting stunning views over one of cricket’s best known venues – adding to the superb hospitality offering for concerts, Lancashire Cricket and England fixtures.

The bedrooms are suitably designed for any guest, including fully accessible spaces and adjoining doors for families. There’s a 40-inch HDTV, crisp white bedding, functional work space, ergonomic chair and mini-refrigerator. Rooms feature one twin or one king luxurious Suite Dreams® by Serta bed with premium bedding, and black-out curtains for added comfort.

Customer Experience

A popular addition is the internal footbridge, which enable guests who are enjoying conferences, events or parties in alternative areas of the stadium, to gain access without having to step a foot outside!

From the moment customers enter the Hilton Garden Inn, they are presented with the warmest of welcomes. The total number of staff working at the hotel is around 50 and they are all proud to deliver a high standard of service, ensuring that each customer is treated individually and on a personal level.

Restaurant and Bar

The hotel’s on-site restaurant, The Garden Grille and Bar, is the perfect place for leisure and business guests to start their day. There’s delicious cooked-to-order breakfasts, prepared by the professional kitchen staff, which can include buffet choices such as succulent sausages, crispy bacon, golden hash browns, fresh tomatoes and mushrooms, along with your continental items and choices of beverages. There’s even a waffle maker, which guests can personalise with their own mixture of toppings.

After a long day of travel, or a busy day at the office, guests can then relax with their favourite cocktail or cold craft beer in the Lounge Bar. Before enjoying one of the Hilton Garden Inn favourite dinners, such as the pan-roasted chorizo chicken Ballantine which is served with a warm salad of new potato, charred onion and asparagus and pickled vegetables or the classic signature Mobley burger, which is served on a toasted brioche bun with a salad garnish, house slaw, skin-on fries and beer-battered onion rings all lovingly prepared by the Executive Chef and his team.
