The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) is the UK’s trade association for insurance brokers. Their annual conference brings together the largest insurance broking community in-person for two days of networking, insights, and visionary speakers. BIBA is the voice of the sector advising members, Government, regulators, consumer bodies and other stakeholders on key insurance issues.
Clive Myrie, BBC Broadcaster and BIBA Conference host, announced this week at The BIBA Conference that the event will return to Manchester Central for the next two years.
The BIBA Conference 2025 will take place on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 May and will be back in Manchester in 2026 on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 May.
BIBA Conference Director, Emma Chapman says: “We are thrilled to be able to confirm our plans for the next two years. This is a positive move enabling plans to be made early by us and our attendees and the many Manchester businesses fulfilling their needs.
“We look forward to welcoming back even more people from the world of insurance to Manchester for the next two years.”
The 2024 edition of The BIBA Conference took place 11-12 May at Manchester Central. The two-day event welcomed over 8,000 attendees to a large exhibition in Central Hall, and a mix of keynote speakers and seminar sessions as well as number of fringe sessions.
The BIBA Conference was supported by the Manchester Convention Bureau, including the provision of an Accommodation Booking Service (ABS). The Bureau acted as the event’s official accommodation provider, securing rooms for the thousands of conference participants, operating an online booking portal and handling enquiries from delegates. The team also assisted with the promotion of Manchester as the host destination as well as welcoming delegates to the city.
