Boasting some of the best corporate views in the City and an antidote to airless, underground, off-the-shelf meeting rooms, the bright new 8th-floor space at 11 Portland St in Piccadilly will offer businesses a fresh, modern and colourful meetings alternative, flooded with natural daylight and outstanding views in three directions. It will be the expanding firm’s 16th UK venue.

The glass-clad, purpose-built 20,000 sq. ft. space will house up to 300 daytime and evening corporate event-goers. With original, contemporary fittings, selfie-friendly ‘art with a purpose’, adaptable LED lighting and free wi-fi throughout, event-goers will have access to 15 flexible rooms, including an adaptable suite for up to 300 delegates in theatre style. There will be exhibition space and opportunities for exclusive use of parts of the venue, including a dedicated separate entrance.

Etc.venues Manchester will feature on-site dining, a bar and its own theatre kitchen and chefs serving fresh, innovative cuisine. All-day grazing and unlimited tea, coffee & snacks are a core part of all-inclusive day delegate packages. All rooms fitted with hi-spec NEC projectors/screens.

Dominic James, operations head for etc.venues Manchester, said:  “Opening 11 Portland St in Manchester Piccadilly is key to our mission to help event organisers create memorable meeting experiences for their staff and clients. We’ve always wanted to commit to inward investment in Manchester, and longstanding clients have been telling us for years that they want non-residential city centre spaces with natural daylight that are different, modern and well-connected.  We’re excited about offering this to firms who need a new and different place to meet in Manchester.”
