This week, The Manchester Convention Bureau has successfully launched their brand new website, with a fresh design and new layout, it aims to provide easier access to the services they offer including sourcing venues, accommodation booking and overall convention support.
As part of Marketing Manchester, the Meet in Manchester website provides all the necessary information an event planner of any size would need, outlining key venues and information on previous successful conventions held in the city-region.
It also provides information around Manchester’s key sectors, which range from Advanced Materials, Life Sciences, Digital and Tech, Creative Media, Culture and Sport. It outlines how Manchester Convention Bureau can help bring conferences of this nature to Manchester.
Manchester Convention Bureau has recently supported the winning bid to host the Worldwide Music Expo 2024 (WOMEX), an international music convention with 2,600 professionals from 90 countries set to attend, as well as several high-profile sport events such as the Davis Cup 2023 and Tour of Britain 2023.
The launch of the new website coincides with the relaunch of the Manchester Conference Mbassador programme, where ambassadors use their profile and connections to help bid for and win international conferences and events for the city-region, which contribute £862m to the local economy, and support the wider tourism, hospitality, and leisure sectors.
