The Science and Industry Museum’s conference centre has undergone a significant technical revamp to enhance the event experience and to allow organisers to hold virtual and hybrid events on site. Guests can now stream conferences from any meeting room using newly installed state-of-the-art equipment, enabling them to connect with audiences both locally and further afield.

With brand new HD projectors, 4K interactive display screens and a wireless presentation system, event organisers will be able to seamlessly stream content to an audience with the option to combine live broadcasts, pre-recorded sessions and on-demand content.

The meeting rooms now feature an integrated Microsoft Teams system, with steerable PTZ camera’s delegates can connect with colleagues remotely through Teams-based meetings and presentations, allowing further opportunities for hybrid ways of working. Digital signage has also been installed throughout the conference centre to increase branding opportunities and to allow remote content management, delivering a polished event experience.

The Science and Industry Museum recently announced the launch of their new broadcast studio, with high-definition screens and a 4K camera set up, the studio has since enabled event organisers to continue hosting engaging events in line with government regulations.

The Science and Industry Museum is renowned for hosting unique conferences and events in Manchester. In 2019 it welcomed more than 15,000 guests to over 200 corporate and private events.
