Food & Beverage 

Victoria Warehouse adopts food and beverage practices that support a sustainable approach and enhance guest choice and experience. This includes offering vegetarian and vegan meal options using locally sourced produce, supporting local suppliers, and minimising food miles. Additionally, the company uses recyclable packaging and cleaning materials. 

The team advises clients on catering for specific events, making recommendations for canapés during networking receptions and street food post-conference. The chefs offer a wide range of plant-based menu options, allowing event organisers to choose fully 'green' catering for their events. 

Waste Management & Recycling 

The venue is dedicated to sustainable waste management practices, focusing on limiting waste generation and reducing landfill contributions through recycling. The event teams receive regular training on maintaining recycling policies and maximising waste management systems. 

The venue has implemented measures such as eliminating single-use plastics, embedding recycling processes, and using eco-friendly cleaning products. For conferences, they no longer offer single-use items such as notepads and pens and only use recyclable cups and containers for serving food and drinks. Working with clients on key points and gathering finer details on numbers close to the event taking place also means preventing waste on the day.

Victoria Warehouse has an environmental sustainability plan in place to engage and educate venue teams, supported by proactive engagement with the local community. The venue team collaborate closely with Trafford Council on local projects, attends development sessions, and participates in networking events with other local businesses. 

From event enquiry to delivery, the venue team advises clients on using local businesses for event solutions such as signage, lighting, décor, and entertainment.
