Manchester’s presence at The Meetings Show 2025, held at Excel London, was our most impressive yet, marking the largest footprint we’ve ever had at the show. With a dynamic stand spanning 49 sqm, designed and brought to life by Leopold Marketing, we showcased the energy, innovation, and ambition that continue to define Manchester as a world-class destination for business events.

Exhibiting alongside 11 valued venue and hotel partners, Manchester proudly represented the strength of our city’s events offer. Together, we achieved 234 unique leads, with further multiple discussions generating a total lead count of 319. Even more impressively, our collective efforts resulted in 48 live enquiries, a phenomenal outcome that signals strong and immediate interest in hosting future events in Manchester.

Our standout presence at the show was significantly amplified thanks to the support of Manchester ABID (Accommodation Business Improvement District). This collaboration enabled us to enhance Manchester’s visibility through a series of high-impact activations:

On the eve of the show, Manchester took centre stage at the Hosted Buyer Welcome Reception with an unforgettable evening of drag bingo, hosted by none other than Dr. Cheddar Gorgeous of RuPaul’s Drag Race fame. Set at Horizon 22, 254 metres above ground, this unique event welcomed 200 top event planners for an experience-led evening of live entertainment, skyline views, and meaningful networking.
