VisitBritain BVE Association Conference 

11–15 February 

This conference brings together business events professionals to discuss strategies for promoting the UK as a leading destination for conferences and events. It's an excellent platform for networking and sharing best practices. 

 

International Confex 

26–27 February 

Hosted at ExCeL London, International Confex is a premier event for event planners, offering insights into the latest industry trends, technologies, and services. Attendees can explore a diverse range of exhibitors and participate in educational sessions. The Manchester Convention Bureau will be attending alongside partners.  

 

ICCA UK & Ireland Annual Chapter Meeting 2025 

26–28 February 

Organised by the International Congress and Convention Association, this meeting gathers members from the UK and Ireland to discuss industry developments, share knowledge, and strengthen professional networks. 

 

US Sales Mission and SMU International 

10–12 March 

This initiative involves engaging with key stakeholders in the United States to promote Manchester as a prime destination for international events. It's an opportunity to build relationships and engage with event planners from the corporate, association and incentive markets, and explore potential collaborations from across the globe. 

 

UK Sport Event Partners Day 

20 March 

A gathering focused on the intersection of sports and events, this day facilitates discussions on hosting major sporting events, partnerships, and leveraging sports to boost tourism and local economies. While out there, the team will be meeting with national sports governing bodies.   

 

GANG Annual Conference 2025 (Great Ambassador Networking Group) 

24–25 March 

This conference brings together ambassadors and industry leaders to discuss strategies for promoting destinations, enhancing delegate experiences, and fostering international collaborations. 

 

IMEX Frankfurt 

20–22 May 

Taking place at Messe Frankfurt, IMEX is a leading global event for the meetings and events industry. It offers a comprehensive programme of exhibitions, networking opportunities, and educational sessions, attracting professionals from around the world. Manchester will join the MeetEngland stand alongside other cities to represent the UK.  

 

The Meetings Show 

25–26 June 

Held in London, this show is a key event for the UK inbound and outbound meetings industry. It provides a platform for meeting planners to connect with suppliers, attend educational sessions, and discover new venues and services. Manchester Convention Bureau will be joined by numerous partners throughout the event.
